“Divine pharaoh and Strong nation; to the rule of Egypt.’
Preface,
Oh, my people, I address you as your King, which in my reign, you have witnessed nothing but my benevolence. I extend a heartfelt invitation to the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Egypt, urging collective efforts to safeguard our realm, foster economic growth, and propel our cherished values forward through collaborative endeavors.
Our kingdom confronts an exceptionally dangerous world, fraught with threats that have drawn desperately close in recent times. Trade is dwindling with each passing day, impacting our economic relations with key partners such as the Hittites, Mycenaeans, Cypriots, and Assyrians. The balance of trade is regrettably steeped in its highest deficit, posing a formidable challenge to our economic stability. Concurrently, internal production is on a downward spiral, contributing to a sense of internal unrest.
Beyond our borders, unknown invaders have breached the defenses of neighboring empires, and it is an inevitable reality that they will advance toward our sovereign lands. Consequently, a collective resurgence is imperative in every facet of our endeavors. As your King, I stand at the forefront, and I implore your unwavering loyalty to navigate these challenges and restore our kingdom to its ever lasting glory.
The Main Palace,
INTRODUCTION
The New Kingdom of Egypt is a magnificent civilization, intricately interconnected with numerous external empires and highly sophisticated trade networks. Stretching across the vast expanse of the Eastern Mediterranean, Anatolia, and Mesopotamia, a flourishing exchange of goods exists between mighty states. Egypt, a key player in this intricate web, fosters primarily peaceful trade relations with counterpart kingdoms and empires, forging bonds with The Mycenaean Greeks and the Hittite Empire based on a fundamental necessity for the mutual existence and prosperity of all involved.
Central to Egypt's prosperity is the lifeblood of the nation—the sacred Nile. This majestic river, revered as the backbone of our civilization, served as the primary source of sustenance for our agrarian pursuits and the foundation of our economic prosperity. The responsibility of maintaining the holiness of this sacred bond fell upon the shoulders of the people, intertwined with the divine authority of the pharaoh. Loyalty to the sacred union between the Nile and the pharaoh is not only a cultural imperative but a strategic necessity for the flourishing of the kingdom. The magnificence of Egypt is based on its roots in the rich soil of traditions and cultures, cultivated exclusively within the noble heritage of the Egyptian people. From the grandeur of monumental architecture to the intricate hieroglyphics that adorned our cities, every facet of Egypt is a symbol of the unique diversity that defined our kingdom.
However, the winds of change began to blow with unprecedented force across the external world. An era of widespread upheaval, social disintegration, and geopolitical turmoil unfolded across the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East. In this tumultuous time, Egypt found itself in a critical position facing multifaceted threats and navigating the intricate web of interconnectedness that bound it to the external world. As external pressures mounted, the need for a comprehensive and strategic response became increasingly evident. Egypt's position as a pivotal player in the complex network of civilizations necessitated a nuanced approach to safeguard its interests and preserve the sanctity of its kingdom.
The very essence of Egypt's existence is facing challenges. The people of Egypt, guided by the wisdom of their leaders, should embark on a journey to secure the kingdom. This catastrophic era will test the very foundations of our civilization, challenging our people to forge a path forward amidst the winds of change that are sweeping across the world. As this kingdom navigated through the wave of changes, our nation's strength should lay in adaptability and unity.
SITUATION DEFINITION
In today's world, the New Kingdom of Egypt is surrounded by an array of threats that invade its borders.
Trade: In the face of an extraordinarily dangerous world, this period witnesses a decline in trade with vital partners such as the Hittites, Mycenaeans, Cypriots, and Assyrians. The balance of trade is falling into a state of unprecedented deficit, posing a formidable economic challenge.
Climate Change: The volume of the Nile River is shifting due to climate change. There is less food surplus because of the slower food production, which will further deteriorate our trade.
Internal Instability: Internally, the decline in production aggravated internal instability, creating a difficult situation for the kingdom. The international system is almost collapsing which will result in more internal instability.
Invasion: Furthermore, there is an external invasion of unknown invaders whose scope appears to be large, as neighboring empires are being surrendered to external pressures. It is an extraordinary condition in which these invaders have the capability of fighting counterpart empires with the mere intention of plunder, harm, and destruction. Thus, war is expected in the near future. The inevitability of these invaders reaching the heart of the New Kingdom deepens the urgent need for a comprehensive and resolute response.
In this context, a coordinated effort to protect the kingdom, stimulate economic growth, and uphold cherished values became imperative.
SECURITY PRIORITIES
1, Protect the kingdom of Egypt
The pharaoh being the primary protector of the kingdom, the people and army of Egypt will deal with a wide range of emergencies and military threats and effectively safeguard the security of the kingdom.
2, Securing our trade and economy
The Hittite empire actively pursues unfair advantages, acts violently and coercively, and subverts the principles that form the foundation of a free and stable international order in many other domains. We shall respond to the challenge when the actions of the Hittite empire directly jeopardize our interests and moral principles. We will crack down against unfair and unlawful trade practices, that challenge our advanced and developing technology, and work to weaken our competitiveness globally. We'll make sure that our supply networks for vital medical supplies and national security technologies are safe.
3, Overcome internal instability
Loyalty to the divine pharaoh and the ruling system has been the major feature of Egypt and should continue to be. The people of Egypt and the army should unswervingly adhere to the pharao’s absolute leadership.
POLICY \ INSTRUMENTS
1, Political Cooperation
Egypt will keep committing to its alliances and partnerships, and embrace international cooperation toward a better, safer, more resilient, and more prosperous world. We strongly believe that our strength is multiplied when we combine efforts to address common challenges, share burdens, and broaden the circle of cooperation. We will maintain our trade relationship with the Hittites, Mesopotamia, and our other trade partners. Moving forward with cooperative military tactics, Egypt’s army will continue to conduct practical collaboration with their counterparts in other nations across the world.
2, Economic policy
The country’s economy is one of the key factors that affect Egypt's resilience under this extraordinary situation. The country members including peasants, merchants, mercenaries, scribes, and the army should work more for the rule of Egypt. Most of all, consumption should be reduced to the bare minimum and the state’s capability should shift to where it is needed the most until the good days come.
Production reforms: utilize irrigation in agriculture for more food surplus. Build a store to stock crops in case of an emergency related to any risk regarding climate change or sudden external attack.
3, Military
Building a strong national defense and powerful armed forces closely centered around preparation to respond to the state's core security needs.
Preparation for war: fundamental military doctrine to manage crises, and win war. Egypt’s army must be able to fight and win, concentrate on effective short-run military strategies, and work diligently and tirelessly on practical preparations to improve their overall capabilities for deterrence and warfighting.
Development of ‘Egypt’s back arm’ as an institution that will make persistent analysis on the external situation regarding the invaders and accordingly refine policy.
These measures, together with Egypt's geopolitical advantage like the Nile's natural endowment and geographic isolation, are designed to make Egypt more resilient to this extraordinarily perilous circumstance.
Long Live to our Kingdom,
